ZUMBA FITNESS!
inSpirit Church hosts a Zumba class Mondays from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The class is open to all women.
What is Zumba?
- Latin-inspired dance aerobics that uses Latin dance moves like Salsa, Reggaeton, Cumbia, and Meringue, along with other dance moves coordinated to the music.
- A great workout! You can burn 500 calories in an hour of Zumba.
- Music—most of the music is Latino, but includes other styles like hip hop, and pop music too.
- Zumba is for anyone who wants to exercise and have fun at the same time.
Who can come?
- Zumba Club is open to any woman who wants to get a good workout and have fun!
- Your current level of activity does not matter. You can customize the intensity for yourself
When and where do we meet?
- We meet on Mondays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at inSpirit Church.
- There may be weeks we take off due to holidays. Check the inSpirit Church Calendar for the upcoming class times.
- If you cannot make it every week, that is okay. You are still welcome to join.
- If the class is canceled due to bad weather, cancellation notices will be posted on WOOD TV and woodtv.com.
What does it cost?
- The classes are free! with the exception of three special classes that cost $5.00 per person. These special class sessions will be announced well in advance and noted on the inSpirit Church Calendar.
What do I wear/bring?
- Wear anything that you would normally wear when you exercise (sweatpants, top, tennis shoes, etc.).
- Wear good, supportive tennis shoes (a flat, non-gripping sole is best)
- Bring a water bottle with you.
